Sergels torg goes green with Bonava

To live near green areas is at the top of the wish-list when purchasing a new home. Bonava does more than just build houses, we create homes and neighborhoods where people live their lives. This is why we have decided to transform one of Stockholm’s most vibrant locations into a green area for one day on September 4.

Each day, about 200,000 people pass through the Sergels torg public square in Stockholm, making it one of the city’s busiest places. This Sunday, September 4, Bonava will cover the square in 2,000 square meters of grass for one day. The day will also mark the launch of sales of housing units in five new residential areas, an event that will take place on the roof terrace of Kulturhuset. It will also be possible to experience the new projects in virtual reality (VR).

- A home is so much more than the house you live in. It’s about the people and places that surround you. We think that Sergels torg symbolizes life and movement and for this reason, we have chosen to create a green area and invite people to relax and enjoy a picnic in the square over the course of the day. The idea is to bring people together and create an atmosphere similar to that found in community gardens of residential neighborhoods, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.

Sales of housing units in the following five residential areas will commence at Kulturhuset on September 4

Ältadalen, Nacka
Årstiderna, Västerhaninge
Sjöjungfrun, Ekerö
Eds H.O.M.E, Upplands Väsby
Tant Grön, Lilla Sköndal
